The 2013 Spring Compost Contest was held on Saturday, May 4, at the Cherry Street Farmers’ Market and it was a hit! We had a total of 11 entries even though the morning turned out to be a pretty cold and rainy day. This is of our First Place winner, James Wineinger, who is the Executive Director at Crossroads Clubhouse! We had 3 judges base their results on look, feel and smell. We have to say, it was a tough competition this year – it was hard for the to agree on the top winner! Our Second Place winner was Eldon Eisenach and our Third Place winner was Diane Lance.
