The M.e.t. is honored to work with agencies around the city to staff our Recycling Centers. We are proud to bring recycling opportunities to 11 local governments but The M.e.t. does so much more. We provide jobs for more than 120 workers with disabilities. These wonderful and enthusiastic individuals help maintain the centers, separate and sort recyclables. Without these workers, we wouldn’t be able to provide free recycling for Tulsa area residents.
The M.e.t. works with the following agencies to provide these jobs: Bios, Bridges Foundation, Central State Community Services, Gatesway Foundation, Home of Hope, RARC, ResCare Oklahoma, Show, Inc., and The Major Group.
Every year, The M.e.t. honors these employees with a Christmas Party. We give out awards to the very best workers and presents! This image is from our 2012 Worker Party.
