Medication

Do not flush medications down the drain or toilet. It damages our eco-system, our water supply, and can damage our health. If you don’t use a full prescription, you can have your pharmacist fill only the amount you need. You can also dispose of medications in your household trash, by mixing it with a substance like cat litter or plaster to make it unusable, sealing it in a container and throwing it away.

To dispose of needles, place them in a rigid, puncture-proof plastic container, sealed tight and taped, and throw away.
