2022 Environmental Student Champion
This award went to an amazing young student named Evan McCartney. He kindly helps educate others on how to engage with Mr. Murph bins. He also provides outreach for the Ravens Recycle Program. Overall, he’s an amazing advocate for recycling and environmental steward.
2022 Green Non-Profit
This award went to the Cherokee Area Council who maintain recycling drop off areas as well as education programs in partnership with Pack and Troop Leadership. They also work with Oklahoma Boy Scout and Girl Scout Councils to enhance current recycling efforts.
2022 Green School
Riverfield Country Day School received this award for their exceptional efforts to not only be more eco-friendly, but to educate their students on how to recycle. They teach their students how to treat Mr. Murph bins as well as have parents who patrol these bins. Their efforts are amazing and we are so happy to present this award to them.
2022 Green Project of the Year
The Assistance League of Tulsa carefully sorts donated items and makes them available to over 20 Tulsa-area non-profits and social services organizations. This allows people in need to be connected to the resources they require while also repurposing used items. What an amazing way to be environmentally friendly!
2022 Green Government
This award went to the City of Broken Arrow who recently set up their curbside recycling program in 2020. They also have arranged special pollutant collection events as well as worked with other municipalities to make sure that everyone has options to be environmentally friendly.
2022 Environmental Steward
This award was proudly presented to Graham Brannin who has aided in many pollutant collection events as well education events on recycling. He has been recognized twice by the Sustainability Alliance for the Scor3card Program and recipient of the Bellmon Award.
